Re: interesting whats happening here, talked about this some time ago, resource c...you make a valid point......at some point premiums may be assigned to such large domestic natural mineral resources such as northern dynasty ....nak......if only for national security considerations.......however I think in the real world that all governments whether we view them as dictatorships, monarchies or republics do in fact extract their pound of flesh from prospective or active mineral developers.....it may be called anything from environmental remediation or mineral tax to total or partial nationalization but the game is largely the same......only last year political trial balloons were launched in australia over mineral spoils and development of resources on public lands is always debated in the US come election tim...

interesting whats happening here, talked about this some time ago, resource co's, miners etc BHP NEM FCX RDS CVX XOM...many list assets that in that they claim ownership that exist in countries who may at some point say different... if the mine was leased or sold by a corrupt dictator or govt that is no longer valid.. what is the status of the asset?
