Check out the weekly FAS puts. They get published every Thursday. Writing the weekly will yield more money in the long run than writing them 2-3 months out, something to think about. The time decay doesn't start rapidly kicking in until about 3-4 weeks until expiration, but the weeklies tend to have a nice drop beginning Friday afternoon, the week before expiring. I try to write the weeklies on Friday morning (or Thur afternoon), usually by end of day Friday I'm up on the trade, and looking really good by Monday/Tuesday, assuming no huge move in the price of the underlying stock. Food for thought...
