The SPRD was a "favor" for someone and not an attack. I actually just spoke with an auditor who FMCN wanted to bring in and switch from a big four. Before you think that's crazy keep in mind big four china is not big four US. The US accounting firms in the top ten have only the bottom auditors willing to sign off from the US offices. Big four and BDO use only their China affiliates. Long story short, the auditor did not want to take over the FMCN account. Yes I should've shorted a long time ago...No I didn't because I didn't know a hammer was coming in the form of MW. Shorting a CN co without a hammer takes too long and is risky because you have a fleet of people on the other side pushing the stock up.

Re: Muddy Waters screw up on SPRD last time, short $13 stock tanked to $10 now $2...

Muddy Waters report on SPRD was a series of questions that they felt the Chairman should address. The report never made any allegations against SPRD. The report against FMCN is a full out attack claiming fraud. Given MWs track record I would not bet on a short squeeze.
