fwiw I'm in too. VVIX is really low and doesn't usually stay here. Also the march and april futures are pretty low (from what I can tell the curve is as low as its been all year), so even a small sell off definitely can send the vix products rocketing. Not saying it will happen, but risk reward is good here.

The vix products trade based on the futures curve, not spot VIX, so if you try to make sense of the relationship between VIX and VXX etc. your head will explode haha.
