God's Wisdom: Being satisfied with what you have and living a godly life is great gain! For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having enough food and clothing, let us therein be content.

They that would be rich, fall in to many a temptation and pierce themselves with many a sorrow.

Both good financial times and bad are in the hands of the Lord. Bad times come to teach us that nothing is certain in this life and money is not what is most important. Our true security comes from God alone and He is where our contentment, satisfaction, and prosperity lie.
