Re: Help a New Understand Price Drops

It looks like a ton of people did not think that this drug, (for constipation) has a chance in the market and shorted the stock causing the price to drop. When there are more people shorting than buying the price goes down. I would sit back and watch for sales before I bought in, maybe 3-6 months from now the company will prove the shorts wrong, but for now the shorts control this one.

Help a New Understand Price Drops

Hello,

I joined about a month ago and really appreciate all the information here. But, I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer:

SGYP just got FDA approval on a drug, but the stock dropped. I'm VERY new to all of this, but one would think that development would mean the price would go up instead.

I know I'm asking about a specific stock, but why, in general, would something like this (good news) end up with this result (price falling)?

Thanks so much in advance!
