Mines Ltd assay certificate from the files of Sutherland Minerals Ltd reports an analysis of 123.95 oz.Au/ton with 3.65% Cu in a sample submitted by Fred Moore, son of George Moore, the claimholder.

Kangeld Resources Ltd examined Sutherland Minerals CUPP claim block in 1984 and reported assays up to 2.49 oz. Au/ton from trenches near the north boundary of
the CUPP claim (#93300, Korenic, 1984).
Sampling by Munroe (1984) confirms the erratic nature of gold assays from the CUPP claim block, ranging from nil to 3.56 oz.Au/ton
