TUSTIN, Calif., Nov 26, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Freeze Tag (OTCQB:FRZT), a developer of family-friendly games for tablets and smartphones, announces that it has signed a publishing agreement with Activision Mobile Publishing and Flurry for the upcoming title Grimm Reaper(TM): Hidden Tales.
Grimm Reaper(TM): Hidden Tales is a hidden object and building game set in the amazingly rich world of Grimm's Fairytales. Players are tasked with rescuing fairytale characters (such as Rapunzel) from the Reaper's curse to save the fairytale world.
"In Grimm Reaper(TM): Hidden Tales, we offer the player five different modes of hidden object play for hours of object-hunting fun," says Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag. "Plus Grimm Reaper(TM): Hidden Tales is also a building game, where the player uses dozens of decorations, creatures, and buildings to create a customized Safe Haven for the fairytale characters to live in."
"Activision and Flurry are proud to have partnered with Freeze Tag in their transition to a free-to-play model with their latest game," said Patrick Minotti, General Manager for Games Publishing at Flurry.
Mr. Holland added "What's more, Flurry provided us with deep insight into monetization practices, and did so with a total respect for the creative value we wanted to bring to our users. We're very excited about the game's potential."
The exact launch date for Grimm Reaper(TM): Hidden Tales has not yet been announced, but Holland indicates that it is planned for release in Q4 2012.
