Yesterday I heard 60 percent used 3 times.

Diane Sawyer’s Interview with Speaker of the House John Boehner
"DIANE SAWYER But is it on the table to talk about, because he campaigned on it, 60 percent of the voters have said that they are ready to raise these taxes. They are ready to have (crosstalk) the wealthier Americans pitch in…"

Boehner Press Conf it was brought up in the Q&A
Obama had mentioned it in his Conf

So 60% of the voters say its ok to tax the rich? Take a look at Cali results for Prop 38 and Prop 30

Prop 38 Failed with 72.3% Increased state income tax rates for most Californians,,_State_Income_Tax_Increase_to_Support_Education_%282012%29

Prop 30 passed with 53.9% which was a merger of two previously competing initiatives; the "Millionaire's Tax" and Brown's First Tax Increase Proposal.,_Sales_and_Income_Tax_Increase_%282012%29

So what we learn here is people vote not to raise their own taxes but vote to increase somebody else's taxes. Now that is Democracy.
