100000

In under 2 months.
I was heartened by mrna vaccine news. But I could feel the hope in it. Then I saw the market take a deep breath and wish. Wishing hoping and trading don't work.

Vaccines are hard science. There will be many hopeful moments that over time will find it harder and harder to jump. We are in the hope stage that historically accompany the first reckoning of how terrible it will be.

I asked someone I respect how long this will go on. He quietly said two years. There will be successive waves at least as deadly as this first. There won't be a vaccine for some time.

There are over 100000 dead Americans in less than two months. If I had to guess I'd say that number will be 500000-700000 in 12 months...and then a corresponding number bext year as well.

We have failed. Failed in leadership. Failed in execution and failed making choices.

God bless America...we will surely need it
