|Re: On behalf of environmentalists everywhere.....|
Climate change is a major problem because it's melting the earths glaciers.
The shrinking of glaciers add to rising sea levels, which in turn increases coastal erosion and elevates storm surge as warming air and ocean temperatures create more frequent and intense coastal storms like hurricanes and typhoons.
The Atlantic Gulf is warming up creating fuel for monster storms.... and I do mean MONSTER!
Increasingly destructive & powerful hurricanes have put countless millions of people and structures at risk.
You do recall the massive devastation caused by Maria, Irma. Harvey. Sandy. Katrina and Andrew due to global warmings affect on the weather?
Violently stronger wind speeds, more precipitation and worsened storm surge all sum up to more potential destruction.
If you think the U.S. has problems now due to the pandemic & social unrest, just wait until the next major catastrophic hurricane hits.
By the way it's hurricane season.
Hurricane season lasts from June 1st to November 30th sharply peaking from late August through September.
