Here's a pretty cool site from NASA that lets you know when the

International Space Station is going to fly over your house
https://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/

Click on "sighting opportunities" and then type in your location
and it will give you a list/times when the ISS will be viewable in
your area.
The best times are when you're able to see it for 4 minutes or longer.
It'll be a constant bright dot.
It's not that spectacular but it's pretty awesome to see something in the sky
that's traveling at 17,000 mph,,,210 miles up & someone is in the thing...
Been using this site for years.
Was better when the space shuttle was flying & you could see it

It’s best viewed early morning or early evening when the sun is still set but will still light up the ISS. A friend of mine in my first squadron, Scott Tingle, was launched to the ISS last December. Lucky guy....
