very very very simple scanner setup
this is just an example, but for those interested in technicals that havent looked into the details etc .. try this one.
stockfetcher.com
show stocks where MACD Histogram(12,26,9) is below 0 MACD Slow Line(12,26,9) is above 0 Stochastic %K(15,5,3) is below 25 market is not OTC
again this isnt a serious scanner, but just look at the setup and dig into the separate indicators. why is the macd there why the stochastics and why use the %k and %d separately etc etc.
Im havent been trading for a long time, but cant stress that enough, but by really digging into the formulas I have learned alot.
there are much better setups, got a few that yield very interesting results. All I can say is that just running a scanner is BS if you dont know what you are looking for.
again this is not a realistic scanner, but just to illustrate what kind of results you can get from just a few simple lines of code
as an example im getting these results with this scanner: DSCO KERX GNBT etc etc.

Here is the moral of all human tales; 'Tis but the same rehearsal of the past, First freedom, and then glory - when that fails, Wealth, vice, corruption - barbarism at last, And history, with all her volumes vast, Hath but one page.
