Instead of solely on L2, R/R is now becoming the trend, how much you are willing to risk to reap that reward, don't let the pennies affect your decision, the best bang of the profits is often reside on patience, granted not all patience reap the rewards, that's why there's the risk on every single play. If the DD is still sound you just add to the position, if the DD has changed 180 degrees, don't feel bad to reduce exposure cuz now the reward is limited with the same risks. How to arrive at R/R, the 2 Rs? It is based on the DD info, your calculated odds, and what your further DD tells you, there's never an exact science. It will come to you when you gained enough experience trading.
Watching L2 to make pennies is SUICIDAL, if you are new to this game, take this at home with you tonight, cuz it's the best lesson you ever learned. Stop being a clueless daytrader off L2 for pennies, the commissions and no DD will eat you alive. That's what most trading seminars do, green button you buy, red button you sell, bunch BS. It's like random lights blinking, if the software all rely on L2 to make those calls, they are clueless designers who never really traded themselves but bunch of fraudsters.
