My dearest Goose.......thank God this traumatic incident has had a happy ending! I am so happy to hear you are feeling better...strong enough to fly again ! I can hardly believe what happened to you. I know you have at least 15 more rounds in you :). Let's not forget you are an honorary Canada Goose and they are after all, the strongest . L

But SSN and most everything else in my life was irrelevant about a month back (1/25/12 )when I was really sick, I had much black diarrhea (yes black from the blood) and was very weak. My broth called an ambulance and I went to emergency at the local hospital, the Dr there said that I was very sick and was worried about my kidneys failing.There is a specialist (kidney) at the Renown Hospital in Reno, so after treating me here and some blood transfusions, I got an emergency helicopter ride to emergency in Reno, over an hours flight from where I live (3hrs by car).. when I got to Reno they thought that I had a tear in my stomach that caused me to lose so much blood. They scoped me (camera in my stomach) and at the same time they sewed up that tear that they found, how they did that has to be some technology. but I'm thankful that they did or I would have been a goner for sure. I was in the hospital about four and a half days. What an ordeal! I hope I never have to go thru anything like this ever again. This tear was caused by a Bacterium,and I've been taking antibiotics to treat this infection. I don't smoke and rarely drink and try to live a healthy life style and this has to happen to me, life is not fair it seems. I'm feeling better and getting my strength back. I was almost a dead goose, but I came back an am ready for 15 more rounds, LOL
