I eat there everyday like I said. I have talked to a few managers that are very excited about the new plans. I will be asking more about it. I was told a smaller menu and quicker model. Less casual and faster. If the food stays on par it should do well. I might have been told the name but this was a few weeks ago so I cant remember for sure.
There is a few other Asian competitors Like Ghengis grill and Panda express with quick serve models but taste like buffett quality. But Pei Wei quality is so much better I dont even consider the others competitors. I think of Pei Wei closer to Hibachi quality. I plan on trying to make it to opening of their first new model store.

Havent heard of this, you're saying a smaller and quicker store than the current Pei Wei? what will it be called....this could be the closest concept to chipotle in the asian space.....you are on to something here...
