Read Gary Shilling's work, or perhaps that's where you got your numbers from. I've received his work for yeas now and its been spot on. I'm not happy with the prediction frankly, its going to continue to create negative wealth, a lack of mobility in the work force, and ruin retirement possibilities for many.

On the other hand I continue to see multimillion dollar funds buying up distressed housing on the cheap, fixing them up and renting them out. The supply of homes may be mopped up sooner than we suspect.
