|Re: my kid's school is scrambling to get accounts set up for live classes|
Our kids school is cancelled for the rest of the year, but they are doing the same thing, group meetings and basically working from home. I could see Zoom taking off. We've been using Google Meet, which seems to be working good as well. Class begins at 9am for us every day. Get ready for a rocky start as the faculty comes up with how they're going to implement it. I've learned that our teachers rely on teacher assistants, usually very young, tech-savvy people, to set this up. When we asked questions like "We did the work, how do we submit it", the regular teachers didn't know the specifics on that, and often gave us the wrong directions. After an initial struggle and a bit of frustration on both ends, I think everyone has it figured out now. Best of luck!
