The market is like Nature to me - unpredictable, wild, and never ceases to amaze and HUMBLE me. You can build models to predict the course of nature...weather patterns, etc, but you cannot predict the outcome. You can only predict a probability. Analyze your probabilities, and make sound decisions with lightning speed. That is the trick - and that is what can only be honed over the period of many, many years of experience.
For these reasons, I am a STUDENT of the market, and not a MASTER of the market. I believe it is delusional for anyone to say they have mastered the market.
I believe the best trader is one who has an endless array of tools to employ, so I aim to be a "Jack-of-all-trades." Hence my name.
I am a math geek - I love technical analysis and charts. I also love fundamental analysis and spreadsheets - poring over 10ks, quarterly reports, press releases, company conference calls, balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flows, etc. I am a sentiment monitor - I read message boards, blogs, call brokers, etc. I love it all.
I like to do my homework, and I'm here to help.
I am firm believer that a team of highly skilled, fast, and efficient traders can be much more successful than any one individual investor, if they properly coordinate their efforts.
